2 1/2 Months

Where does the time go? I swear Luke was just born... but then i look at him and he is not a newborn at all anymore. In the last month we have had some excitment. Grandma and grandpa Freeman came out for a visit. We went to Washington DC, downtown Philly, and Valley Forge. Luke was so good! He was great for all the adventures. He cried pretty hard for part of the ride home from DC, but it was understandable. We were all pretty exhausted. We had a blast with them here. Next we had Luke's 2 month check-up. He is in the 80th percentile for both height and weight. and only 40th for head circumfrence. He is a big boy with a little head. Actually his head looks good, a lot of babys' heads look too big. Luke has smiles for everyone! He grins at me for the majority of his awake time. He is now also enjoying some toys, he swats at toys in front of him like the mobile on his bouncer and the animals hanging on the floor gym. He is so entertaining to watch. Luke also LOVES books! I lay on the floor with him and read books and he just grins and kicks his legs, waves his arms, and stares intently at the pages. He loves the colorful books and animal books best. Luke has a new trick, he loves to stand up. He will wrap his hand around our fingers and sit up and then stand up. And he will stand all on his on strength. We just keep him stable. He is such a strong little thing. He used to have to concentrate really hard , but now he will do it and hold his head high and look around all proud like. He is so cute! If you can't tell, I think he is something special! :) (doesn't every mom) The newest and best thing Luke has been doing.... I don't want to jinx it by telling, but... He is sleeping through the night!!!!!!!!!!!! It started last wed or thursday. It scared us to death! the first three times we woke him up, because we were scared. I thought it was for sure going to stop, thinking "Oh Luke this is the best Mother's Day gift ever!" But it has not stopped yet. He sleeps 8 or 9 hours! YAY!!! This week will be another first, we are going to leave him with a friend, so that we can celebrate our 4 year anniversary! Ok now another picture overload...
