4 Months Old

Luke had to have his 4 month doctors appointment a week early, because we were going to be in Utah on his 4 month mark :) The appt went really well! Luke now weighs 15 lbs 9 oz, and is 25.25 inches long! He is now 71st and 73rd percentiles. Still a big boy! Luke had to get more shots, but he did really well, the first one only got a half cry, and the second one got a real big cry which stopped as soon as we popped in the binkie. Then he even had lots of smiles for us after he took a little nap. He is just the happiest boy, even when he is under the weather. The day after his shots he was running a good fever the entire day, but still had lots of smiles and giggles to give us. We just love this boy! Luke is still sleeping through the night. YAY!!!! He had one night where his reflux was real bad and he woke up lots in the night...and just had a bad night. But that has been all... He sleeps 9-10 hours and then eats and sleeps for at least another hour, sometimes 2 or 3. It is awesome! I am loving getting oodles of rest! Luke loves to play with toys. He loves his rubber duckie best.... well he only has like 3 toys so not much to choose from. :) We need to get him more. He enjoys grabbing things including: Mom's hair (of course) and pulling the binkie out of his mouth... he is now trying to figure out how to get it back in. Luke laughs a lot!!!! He thinks his parents are really funny! Luke loves books still, and now grabs pages and turns them, by accident I am sure, but it is sure cute! Luke still loves his baths and of course his favorite people are his Mom and Dad!!! :) Oh yeah, I forgot to say that Luke is quite a talker. He wakes up and talks instead of crying (it is SO cute) and then he jabbers away throughout the day!! Oh my gosh, we just love this kid! I could talk about him all day long....but I am on a time crunch... Keven has now finished his first year of Dental School. I am so proud of him! The funny thing is, this year was no harder than other college courses he has taken, so it was good. Next year is supposed to be really hard, but then it is supposed to be not as bad for the last two years! Right at this moment we are sitting in the airport in Phoenix, AZ on our way back to Utah to show off our sweet baby boy! We had a 5 hour flight and Luke was awesome! He only cried twice and that was because he got startled by the captains loud voice over the intercom when he was just falling asleep. He continues to amaze me, just the best little baby!!! Oh but he did pee all over himself this morning before we left... and then right when we got in the air pooped all up his back!!! haha The week before we left for the summer we did another homemade photoshoot of Luke so here are the pics of our sweet little boy!
